Today on August 5 “Haypost” CJSC officially cancelled and put into circulation a new postal issue within the framework of the 6th Pan-Armenian Summer Games: a stamped souvenir sheet dedicated to the 6th Pan-Armenian Summer Games.
Haypost International – A New Bridge between Armenia and USA
On 21 of July, 2015 HayPost, the national postal operator of the Republic of Armenia, opened its first international office in Glendale, California, USA. Among the guests who attended the official launch ceremony were the Minister of Transport & Communication of the Republic of Armenia Gagik Beglaryan, the Mayor of Glendale Ara Najarian, the directors & officers of HayPost and Corporacion America (the company which manages HayPost) and community representatives.
In the framework of the cooperation between RA Ministry of Finance and HayPost modifications in the import customs legislation have taken place which allow the residents of Armenia tax free import of goods.
Due to these amendments in the law and the mentioned collaboration with RA Ministry of Finance, HayPost has taken a step forward to facilitate the purchasing process of goods from the U.S.. Now residents of Armenia can also make customs clearance on goods they are importing and pay their custom duties at HayPost offices all over Armenia. HayPost staff has undergone intensive customs clearance training to effectively manage these processes.
